The Child Welfare Licensing Coordinator will play a critical role in our organization, responsible for performing a wide variety of supervisory activities for the foster care programs as directed by the Executive Director. This individual assumes primary responsibility for stimulating, supporting and developing a broad spectrum of the program training and re-licensing efforts for the purpose of placing children in foster homes. The Child Welfare Licensing Coordinator is responsible for acquiring documents to include home studies and licensing materials; drafting in-service training proposals and utilizing all the available tools and resources to support the Foster/Adoptive parent population. The Child Welfare Licensing Coordinator is responsible for locating, coordinating and supporting placement of children requiring foster care and supervising the day-to-day work of the family support counselors. He/she will maintain and monitor behavior management plan at the programs while also acting as a liaison for the Executive Director and foster parents. He/she will oversee and coordinate services with case managers, dependency case workers, juvenile probation officers and other team members. The Child Welfare Licensing Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing crisis interventions and incident reporting procedures, monitor all program logs and documentation. He/she will participate in all interviewing, recruiting, training and providing supervision to all foster parents. This individual will be responsible for all performance evaluations, performance management and will be expected to maintain and model appropriate behavior and interactions for foster parents.

Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited university with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling and a minimum of 4 years experience working with at-risk youth. Master’s degree preferred.
